Update on GOYA Elections

Hello everyone,

Elections were held this past Sunday after church.  The new Goya board for 2010-2011 is:

President:              Tommy Karadimas

1^st VP:                 Jacob Mavromatis

2^nd VP:                 Nikos Stamos

3^rd VP:                 Angeleke Kaldis

Recording Secretary:  Maria Nasios

Corresponding Secretary:  Alexandra Aiken

Treasurer:              Dimitri Lappas

Historians:             Anna-Maria Psallidas & Cassiane Mavromatis

Religious Studies:      Eleni Mayes

The Oath of Office will be held this coming Sunday 5/23.  ALL newly elected officers must be sworn in at that time.

This Sunday is also a General Assembly meeting at our church.  GOYA will be selling plates of 4 tyropites or a plate of loukaniko with pita bread and a bottle of wine for $5.00.

Two flyers were also passed out yesterday (attached).

1)       Pool party:  6/3  -- $2.00 per person.  Goya will pay for each Goyan that has participated in ALL 3 fundraisers.

2)      Busch Gardens:  6/21-22 -- $68.50 a ticket.  Goya will pay for each Goyan that has participated in ALL 3 fundraisers.
