Greek School Program

Please join us and experience a wonderful year learning the language, heritage and customs of our Hellenic culture in a nurturing and small class size environment. We offer Greek Language Classes for both Adults and Children (Pre K - 7th).  All classes are offered on Monday's and Wednesday's from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

Registration is open, and the first day of classes will be held on Monday, September 13th, 2010 @ 4:30PM.  Classes will be held at Olney Elementary School, 3401 Queen Mary Drive, Olney, MD 20832.

Under the leadership and direction of Mrs. Kalliopi Tsikourika Samara, classes are held for Pre-K through the Seventh grade focusing on our small school environment where individualized attention is paid to each child. The curriculum for our younger students is learning the basics of reading, writing and conversation. Our older students continue to build on the basics but are also exposed to the studies of Mythology, Geography, History, and Church Hymnology. This further promotes knowledge and appreciation for the rich faith, heritage and culture of our Greek ancestry which is the foundation and cornerstone of our modern civilization today.

Classes in Greek dancing will also be offered to our school age children, beginning Monday's in October.

For our Pre-K Program, Children must be 3 by December 1st, 2010 and be fully potty trained to be enrolled in our program.  Click Here for Information about our Pre-K program and information for new students.
